The City of Pevely, Missouri, is a strong, vibrant community of almost 5,500 residents located along Interstate 55 and U.S. Highway 61/67 immediately south of St. Louis. The community, which sits between the Mississippi River on the east and rich farmland to the west, has a long, proud, and colorful past. The area was settled in 1799, founded in 1860, incorporated in 1910, and present day Pevely became a city in 1953.
